Whether it’s waiting out the rain for the perfect light or capturing people enjoying their holiday, the art of selling a destination starts with good photography. My approach is total immersion in the place before I even take my camera out of the bag.
I ask:
–What is the light doing?
–How do places look from different angles?
–Who is here visiting?
–What are people engaging in?
I’ve worked directly with models as well as ambiently capturing the essence of a place at my own pace.
Many of the images here were shot for Visit England, a long-time client. This work took me all over the country from Northumberland National Park to the South Downs National Park, the potteries in Stoke-on-Trent to the walls of York, and everywhere in between.
Let me help you tell the story of your destination.
From the high-end to the high-up, lavish accommodation design deserves equally sumptuous photography. I focus on both overall impression as well as the tiny details, to help potential customers imagine themselves relaxing and winding down in these lush spaces.
